It was the night freshers first arrived on campus. Kobby walked into my room with a group of friends, and at that very ordinary moment, something extraordinary sparked. We connected instantly, exchanged contacts, and unknowingly laid the foundation of a friendship that would become our forever.
November, 2016
Fast forward almost a year to November 2016, our first official date. By then, countless conversations, shared laughter, and a bond that felt natural had made us inseparable. But as we soon discovered, love doesn’t always unfold in a straight line.
Kobby graduated while I was still in my second year of university. Our journey shifted into late night calls, occasional visits, and a devotion strong enough to bridge the distance.
November, 2019
Then came 2019. I graduated and moved from Kumasi to Takoradi to await my national service posting. The distance grew, the challenges stretched—but still, we chose each other.
Eventually, life brought me to Accra, and for the first time in a long time, we shared our days side by side. We grew through travel, spontaneous adventures, unwavering faith, and the joy of simply being together. Everything began to fall beautifully into place.
August 2023
By August 2023, life took another turn—I moved to Obuasi for a new career opportunity. Once again, distance tested us. Yet in the middle of that familiar challenge, something magical happened.

On August 27th, 2023, I said yes to forever.
Our love story hasn’t followed a perfect fairytale script—no flawless timing, no straight path—
but it has been ours: real, resilient, full of laughter, growth, challenges, and unwavering love.
